The AMCA headquarters laboratory operating out of Chicago, USA, is an ENERGY STAR© approved test laboratory and is A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 > Mechanical (2477.01) – Accredited. It is the standard to which all AMCA-accredited independent laboratories, located in France, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and South Korea, are calibrated. The testing laboratory is equipped with the latest equipment and tests in accordance with AMCA Internationals test standards and other international standards. All instrumentation within the facility is continually calibrated and checked against dozens of AMCA International accredited laboratories around the world.

Large Diameter Ceiling Fan Testing

The AMCA laboratory in Arlington Heights has the capacity to test large-diameter ceiling fans (LDCF) up to 18 feet. Fans in excess of 18 feet (including fans exceeding 24 feet) can be tested at identified offsite facilities.
