Comments:
When using a VFD to power a calibrated motor a sinusoidal filter should be applied to the power measurement in all cases. Filtering the output of the VFD will not lead to accurate measurements unless the filter is matched specifically to the VFD\Motor combination for all points of operation to be tested.

Proposed Change:
In cases where a variable speed drive is used to power a calibrated motor during fan testing, a filter shall be applied to the power measurement which blocks all frequencies other than the motor fundamental frequency, it is preferred the variable frequency drive and motor be calibrated as an assembly, using the same VFD settings during the fan test. The final test.report will specify if a VFD was used during to power the motor, if the VFFD\Motor combination was calibrated as a unit, and the cutoff frequency cutoff frequency for the filter used for power measurement
