Breakthrough Designs
Recent tragedies have caused fire protection professionals to reexamine
fire protection design and construction. In 2002, the UL test standards
for fire- and life-safety dampers changed. The resultant changes have
generated uncertainty regarding the application and installation of these
UL dampers. This article will help fire protection professionals more
confidently incorporate fire, smoke, and combination fire smoke dampers
